Please join the EEPS department and other EEPS alumni at Homecoming this year. EEPS will Celebrate the Life and Career of Dale Sawyer with a reception on the Keith-Wiess Geology Patio beginning at 6:00pm on Friday, October 28.
We will take this opportunity to remember our friend and colleague, Professor Dale Sawyer, who passed away in September 2020. We were unable to organize a proper gathering in his honor during the heat of the pandemic, but we have reached a time when we can invite all of his friends, family, colleagues, students and those whose lives he touched, to join us in a grand celebration. And all of you who knew Dale also know that a party on the patio, with laughter, friendship, and good stories is the best way to recognize all that he gave us.
